August 20 ,"Roar like a Lion". Rev. Bonnie Tarwater will preach a sermon about courage and how we as a liberal religious community can learn to be brave as we slay the dragons of injustice. What is courage and how do we as individuals become our bravest selves in order to face the frightening inevitability's of death, sickness and injustice?

August 27, "Sacred Space Humans have been creating sacred space for religious worship and gatherings of celebration since they were painting bison on cave walls. We will show slides of different churches, temples and mosques and consider how architecture and interior space effects worship and what we believe religiously.

September 3, "Fulfilling the Promise" is a program begun a few years ago by the UUA to help congregations covenant and create mission and a vision of the future. Rev. Bonnie Tarwater will preach on "Fulfilling the Promise." As a religious community we have unspoken covenants with one another. What have we already promised here in religious community? What promises do we want fulfilled?
