Unitarian Universalism is a lived faith. Our tradition is one of "deeds, not creeds. The "Social Justice Ministry" at our congregation offer folks a chance for engagement with a wide range of issues, including peace, affordable housing, advocacy for women's rights, the environment, hunger and democracy. The Social Justice Committee provides support to these a current issue the congregation has voted on supporting, and helps new ones form as needs change. The committee also keeps the congregation informed about social, ethical and economic issues, and takes public positions on selected issues. First Parish is a community where you can readily express your passion for justice. If you want to contact the the committee you may email the Social Justice Committee Chair, Charlotte Simpson, by completing the form below.
