Women's Spirituality Group
This group meets once a month on varying days. It is a shared ministry-each session is co-led by two women who have a topic or activity that they wish to explore and share with others. It is meant to be a supportive, interactive group whose members are of diverse ages. Their purpose is to work together to enrich each others' lives and reach out beyond the church community.
UU and Me Classes
This is an interactive as opposed to a lecture-style course. The participants will have the opportunity to explore and deepen their UU identity. It is traditionally led by Diane Grant and Rev. Dan King.
UU & Me is an Exploration into Unitarian Universalism, First Parish, and Your Spiritual Life. It is more than a UU or First Parish orientation program, the UU & Me program is for new and long-term members alike. We explore a wide range of subjects, including our spiritual timelines, faith, values, beliefs, history, and so much more - plus we have fun!
Classes traditionally meet on Wednesday evenings and have no cost. Many of us have had a great time in the past participating in these sessions---getting to know our religion and each other better. You will have an opportunity to explore your personal spirituality and theology in this class.
Child care is offered, if requested, in order to make it easy for parents to attend.
